How can I read an Excel file as a source?

I'm running DataStage 7.5 on SunOS and have a requirement to read an excel file as a source.

Can this be accomplished through vanilla Datastage or do I have to find a third party product or ODBC driver ?

This topic is covered earlier..
you have options either to use ODBC or save the excel file as csv or any text format and use Sequential file Stage..
Search thru the forum and you will get the answers...

Who's ODBC Driver do you recommend ?

DataStage does not ship with a Driver that reads Excel Docs.
