scheduled job with connect error

Hi all,
i have a job getting data from AS400/db2 to Oracle.. when i run the job myself data goes perfectly. but when i schedule the job even after 5 minutes it give me error of "call to SQLConnect failed" ... the connect to the db2 is through ODBC and i tried it to be without SQL prompting or with but still the same (works fine when i run it and fails when run by schedule).
is there a setting i should make for the scheduled jobs ... why this happens?

When you schedule in DS Windows, it takes the user details from those defined in DataStage Administrator. Check it and see whether that user has the required permission. Alternatively change it to yours.

yes it worked.. the user name and password under the schedule tab was empty..
