Need output files in UTF-8 Compatible form

Hi All
We working on a project and the input data which we are handling is in ASCII format.
The client want us to give him the migrated output data after DataStage Transformations in UTF-8 compatible format.

Are there any features in DataStage which can make my output Data compatible in the required format.

I am hitting around NLS to get some info on this.am i going in the right direction?

Any inputs will be really helpful

Yes.

Do nothing. You do not even need NLS.

If the input data are genuinely ASCII, then they will occupy the same code points under UTF-8.
