Not able to open properties of Job and routine Activity

HI All,

surprisingly, In sequencer jobs ,I am not able to open "properties" of Job and routine activity stages .however other option of the same are working fine.
I even unstalled and reinstalled datastange client thinking some file might have got corrupted.But the problem is persisting.

Can any body suggest the remedy.
Early response will be appriciated as this is delaying the timeframe on my part.

Are you running Windows XP with SP2 installed? If so, either uninstall SP2 or get the client patch from Ascential.

Hi,

While unstalling SP-2 ,its prompting a list of software which may not function properly...Hence to scare to unstall it.
While stalling the patch .......its prompting
File not found -DSengine.exe.local .
I already checked the path number of times its correct.

What could be problem now?
