ORA-01036: Illegal Variable name\number

Hi All,
What should be done to get rid of the error message that says:
ORA-01036: Illegal Variable name\number?????
I am not even able to validate my datastage job..it gives the above error message.......what should be done??
Any help will be appreciated...

Custom SQL?

Usually the only way to get something like this, hence the question...

Hi,
Are you using in reserved word for column names in your SQL?
Also you might want to check the way you are binding columns in SQl statement.
