Hash files types..

In DS documentation it is mentioned that there are 17 types of static hash files. But not mentioned when to use those types. Also I want to know how to use recommendations from HASH.TEST

Also Is static hash file effective when writing data into it or Lookup on stati HF is faster than lookup on Dynamic HF ?
