Job worked in Sun(DS 5.2) and not in AIX(DS 7.1)

I had a job which is running in (Sun/DS 5.2/Red Brick). This job has 43 ODBC plug-in to extract rows from table and outputs to text file with simple select statement. It is working fine in the this environment.

When I export the same job to (AIX/DS 7.1/Red Brick) and ran, it stopped allowing other users to the system and it hanged. I am curious to know why the job not running in AIX which worked fine in Sun.

I can re-design the job and split it into multiple jobs or use a single odbc plug-in and have multiple output.

I would like to know is there any limits apllies.

What do you mean by "it stopped allowing other users to the system"?

Hi Ken,

After that job started in AIX the users can't even telnet a session to AIX box.
