Can we do job administration in Director if so how do we enable the option?

There is a project properties form available through the DataStage Administrator that lets you turn on additional administration functions for Director users. It also lets you set some project default settings such as log clearing and cache memory.

The option you are looking for is a check box on the General panel called "enable job administration functions in Director", these functions let operators release job processes and locks for hung or aborted jobs. The two commands you get are Cleanup resources and Clear Status File.
