Tradeoffs between server and parallel jobs

Hi All,

Our company is planning to purchase parallel extender with huge amount of data to process..... and already we have jobs designed on server canvas
is it possible to migrate to parallel canvas with out any design changes and take advantage of parallel processing
what actaully are tradeoffs between parallel jobs and server jobs and what is the best situation to use parallel and when to use server...
is logic implemented in parallel can also be implemented in server canvas
