Work with VSAM file, conversion from ASCII to EBCDIC

Hi,

I am using DataStage 7.0, new to mainframe stuff.
DataStage server is running on UNIX. Is it possible to work with VSAM files using Datastage, Is there special plug-in needed to do that? Also can I read the EBCDIC file and store in ASCII format.

Read up on the CFF (Complex Flat File) stage documentation and also search for it here.
