Usage of reference tables

Post by divstands »

The reference tables coming wiht any country specific rulset: Are they used for both standardization and matching or one of them?

In Mexican rulset, a regular entry for a Reference Colony table is

"ANDRES CUEXCONTITLAN"
MXASENTA 850

The presence of 850 reflects that this file would be use for matching.

Is the file also used for standardization?

Only for Standardization ...the 850 is used to indicate that uncertainty comparisons will be used so you don't need all permutation of the string

By the way each entry in your lookup table is in one line, right?

Like this:

"SITIO EJIDO" MXASENTA 850

No it is two lines like

"SITIO EJIDO"
MXASENTA 850

Also, when i removed all the added entries to the "new imported rulesets( renamed, provisioned, etc", then the job is runnign as usual.

Would you try to align each entry into one line? Probably that's the issue

But how does that matter? In the original rulesets, it is working perfectly this way.

Well ...in version 8.1 if you have an entry like yours the job will fail, even in the Rule Management GUI

Which version are you working with?

ServerVersion "8.0".

I tried keeping the new entries(only and leaving the old in 2 line format) the way you told. It worked! Thanx !! :)
