QualityStage and DB2

Post by dalecooper »

Hi All

Do you have to have DB2 installed to be able to use QualityStage 8.x ?
I assume DB2 is used for matching etc.

Thanks

The requirement for a database is for the common metadata repository, sometimes called XMETA. This can be DB2 version 9 or Oracle version 10g or Microsoft SQL Server 2003.

Hi Ray

Thank you for the info.
Last question:
When you do a matching specification job you setup the testing environment, it is then possible to connect to the other database?

Thanks
Dale

For QS you should have another database - The Match Designer database - that could be hosted in DB2, Oracle or SQl Server
