Using Quality stage

Hi All,

I am a newbie to quality stage. After going through couple of documents about quality stage i am completely confused. Please help me understand some basic things on quality stage. I sincerely appreciate your time.

1) Does quality stage has separate client and server components like datatsatge?

2) One document says, we can run quality stage jobs from datstage server. Is this correct?

3) Is there a quality stage pulgin in datsatge jobs( on server and parallel engine)

4) does quality stage jobs have command prompt run options like datsatge dsjob command.

5) Is quality satge used for only development region to understand data. Does these jobs go to production In real time?

1) Yes, but only one client (Designer).

2) Yes.

3) Yes. Though the story here changes once you move to version 8.0.

4) Yes.

5) QualityStage can and should be used in production, for standardization, matching and survivorship.
