Quality Stage in loading Datawarehouse

I am a novice in Quality Stage.Could you please help in my understanding of the following.After the Standardization stage if we have any unhandled patterns we need to override them so that we standardize most of the data. If my understanding is correct, this needs manual intervention. Before loading into the datawarehouse we are using Quality stage to standardize and load data. We get new records everyday and we may need manual intervention for unhandled patterns and in matching. The loading of a datawarehouse involves scheduling of jobs. How does the manual intervention portion of quality stage fit into scheduling.
