Match Job abort

HI
I have a match job which does Undup match option.but job is failing in sort.I dont understnd the log file .can you please share your thought.

Segmentation fault = you ran out of memory.

Hi
We are upgrading from QS 7 TO QS 7.5.the job run fine in QS 7.0 .
but we got segmentation error when we run in QS 7.5.
i am wondering whether we have to setup 7.5 differently than 7.0.
Pl share your ideas.

There is no more information in the error message than the VALSORT module ran out of memory, or tried to access a memory address that its process did not own. It could be a difference between versions. Or the amount of data could be sufficiently larger to trigger this problem.
If there were any other warning or error messages, please post them. Otherwise contact your support provider; from this distance, with so little information, there's nought more that I can do.

Hi
The above problem was solved when change alternate local in
Quality profile definition from "en_US" to "C".
but i dont understand what is "C" and is it going to effect data .
please share your thought
