Serious error in Quality stage after upgrading to 7.5.

Post by pavankvk »

We upgraded to DSEE 7.5.1A this morning. We have a standalone osh scripts that run directly from command line, and when trying to run the first of these we get the following error:

##I TFCN 000001 20:07:25(000) <main_program> Ascential DataStage(tm) Enterprise Edition 7.5.1A Copyright (c) 2004, 1997-2004 Ascential Software Corporation.
All Rights Reserved

##I TUTL 000031 20:07:25(001) <main_program> The open files limit is 2000; raising to 2147483647.
##I TOSH 000002 20:07:25(002) <main_program> orchgeneral: loaded ##I TOSH 000002 20:07:25(003) <main_program> orchsort: loaded ##I TOSH
000002 20:07:25(004) <main_program> orchstats: loaded ##E TCOS 000002
20:07:25(007) <main_program> There was a licensing error while executing license binary: .

There are quality stage plugins in datastage jobs which run fine. Only the osh scripts cause this problem.

Any help is appreciated

Did you upgrade QualityStage, DataStage or both?
Because it's a licensing issue, you almost certainly need to have your support provider resolve it.

Hi,
What do you mean by stand-alone osh scripts?
Were the stand-alone osh scripts upgraded as well?
