Best Way to Use Quality Stage

Post by rodre »

I am new to Quality Stage so pardon me if I ask some dumb questions, but I want to best use the tool.

Here are the things I need to do:
* Standardize the Address and Name.
* Validate the Address - I will be using CASS for this.
Here are some questions:

1) Using CASS, de I need to run it through Standardization? or is that a waist? can I just run it through CASS only?

2) I noticed that after Standardization, the name and address are parsed into all these fields. Do I need to concatenate them back together myself or is there a tool that will do that already? At this point I don't need to de-duplicate, so don't need to take the data through these steps.

Any thoughts or suggestions are much appreciate it! :)

Standardization is never a waist. xxPREP output : AddressDomain & AreaDomain is a fine input CASS can process. If you are not interested in doing much cleansing or standardizing, MNS is the easiest to use for pre-processing as well.
