Please help on the sample QualityStage INV Job

Post by daxinz »

I am new on IBM QualityStage, v 7.0.1. build 11.
My QualityStage server is on SUN. client on XP. the "Local Report Data Location" is a sub-folder in the "Master Project Directory" which is on UNIX, a mapped folder in my windows XP. in Advanced Project Setting, I use the default settings: data, controls, temp, logs, and scripts. I have the rwx privilege in the "Master Project Dire4ctory".

I deployed the profile successfully: Job completed successfully compiled transferred converted .
But get error when I run the task I got error:

Error exec: INV(12093):Mon 17 Aug 2009 08:25:32 PM PDT (MSG_vopen.c:10; vopen.c:580) ERROR: opening /uxp/kx896609/QSProjects/NEWGS/data/GS000000
INV(12093):Mon 17 Aug 2009 08:25:32 PM PDT (MSG_vopen.c:13; vopen.c:777) ERROR: Unable to open file /uxp/kx896609/QSProjects/NEWGS/data/GS000000

the folder /uxp/kx896609/QSProjects/NEWGS/data/ is empty. /QSProjects/NEWGS/DIC has the GS000000

Could anybody help me?
Thank you in advance.

I find the problem. My solution is to copy the gs000000 to the Data folder, and rename it to GS000000. It is case sensitive! The QS server writes the file to the folder specified in the profile. The read/write privilege is a big issue when run the process.
