Problem with QualityStage Reports Generator

Post by aaikat »

I am a new user of QS.I am facing problem in 'Report Generator'(File -> Reports) in QS.I have specified Reports Database : C:\Ascential\QualityStageDesigner75\Reports.mdb

It is giving error :- 'Unrecognized database format 'C:\Ascential\QualityStageDesigner75\Reports.mdb'

I didn't install Access.I hope it is installed at the time of installing QS and gets populated during data analysis.

Please advise.

That message usually stems from an incompatible version between the MDB file and Access. A run-time version of MS Access does install with QualityStage (and with DataStage, for the documentation tool). It would be unusual that this is out of synch with Reports.mdb but stranger things have happened. Contact your support provider in case this is what has happened. Installing a suitable version of MS Access will ameliorate the situation.
