Can any one tell me how to create a schema file using sequential file stage "with an example" in datastage PX?

Hi there,

I suppose you have not read the parjdev pdf where in there is a section dedicated to schema files. that will help you a lot.

A quick fix method which I often follow is to write the columns definition in the stage and use the universe schema to create my schema file. There is an APT variable which shows you the schema in the log but the name is skipping my mind.
