Add a new target stage which can consume multiple input links and build a report similar to reports which can built in MS Access. This stage should be able to save the report in pdf format and html format. This should also allow the report to be emailed upon the report being built. This stage should have said email capabilities inbuilt.

Thanks.

Part of EtlStats is a job to generate html reports. Give it any SQL statement and a ODBC DSN and it will generate the html report and email it as an attachment to any email address.

This report stage should be able to consume multiple input links and be able to have headers, footers, labels, etc... and take the input from the multiple links and put the output into the designated sections.

Input from aggregated data, from unaggregated data, etc... should all be able to sent to this stage via multiple input links. Thus, this stage should be able to take input from many SQL statements (inputs) to produce reports. Summary data, nonsummary data, etc...

Thanks.

Gotcha. A feature best left to another tool to provide.

Thanks for the feedback!

Simple reports are what my process is for. These reports are to be sent to ETL developers to let them know if the data warehouse is loaded correctly or there are issues. There meant to be more elogant than a plain email but somewhat less professional then something sent from Cognos. They are perfect for sanity checks or audit checks.
