Password is not hardcoded it is parameterized.
In the job log it is given passwd was succesfully retrived before starting the job in both case( failed and success).
but when it actually started the job then it gave error while invoking the datastage job.

yes i defined the datatype of char and nullable, I did know that EE will Pad the Ascii nulls if i define the type char and nullable.

Do Merge key need to have same metadata?

2) same type
