that seems correct.

Why don't you use the Administrator to see the values? It is much easier!

kwwilliams, i was wrong with my first post. the DIRECT=FALSE option causes oracle to avoid setting an index option. I do not understand why the job does not have the same behaviour. The 2 environment variables are set correctly at run time! Moreover, this APT variable is not a user defined variable!...

hi roy,

in the Oracle Enterprise Stage, there is an option: index mode.

Set this to tell the loader what to do with the indexes.

hi,

actually the folder where Datastage is installed must be in the $PATH environment variable.

.dsenv sets this variable correctly.

hi,

3 ways :

in the director : when you run a job, you can specify the maximum number of warnings (the limit options)

in a job control : DSSetJobLimit

from commande line : dsjob -run -warn n (n is the number of warnings) ...

to set no limit n must be equal to 0.

OK. I've heard about other special requirements, like special libraries, or other tools to make it work (you have to install a C++ compiler).

Which tool is OK? Visual Studio? Is there any other tool to install?

running PX on a Windows Platform

Hi all,

and happy new year!

I would like to know what are the requirements to install and run PX on a windows environment.

Which version does allow this feature?

What are the requirements (hardware and software?)

thanks.

Regards,

hello,

open a case with Ascential.

there are some well known bugs of fatal errors which do not abort a job.

it may be a DB2 problem, not a Datastage problem.

do the abort occur during the load?

you can improve performance if you set the option numbers of Readers per node in the Sequential file stage >1.
