hi ray u have misread the design, see the picture, it is very clear i guess, there are two transformers in place of transformerstage2 in the actual diagram

yes
i have two transformers directly connected in the job.

if i use a sequential file or inter-process stage between them the job runs.

instead if i enable in-process or inter-process rowbuffer it does not work.

nothing to do with transformations we are just using couple of hash files along with transformer for look up. seq------transformer-------hash------transformer | | | | hash | | | odbc----transformer-----transformer-----seq this is the structure.

DATASTAGE SAP R/3 ORACLE

The error message shows that it is a LOGON error and GATEWAY error. Both are related to network issues. Try connecting to SAP and ORACLE from outside of Datastage environment in offshore.
