Hi, I want to use copy and remove commands both in a single execute command activity in a job sequence. Even if we run the job individually (i mean not in sequence),first time its running successfully.next time we run, its aborted, third time also aborted with error

Thank you Craig, I got you. Some jobs are getting aborted with error:

Sur_Key_Gen,0: Failure during execution of operator logic.
Sur_Key_Gen,0: Internal Error: (newRange.min_ && newRange.max_): surrkey\keystate.C: 467

Any advice?

Thanks Craig. What exactly reset if required option mean?Does it mean that if any changes occur in the job, it will reflect in that job activity of the sequence?

JOb Sequence

Hi, We have a sequence of 18 jobs.We tested all the jobs that are in the Sequence, they are running successfully.But when we run that sequence, some jobs(which had run successfully individually) are getting aborted. Sometimes when we run sequence again, previously aborted jobs are running successful...

surrogate key error

Hi,
We are using Datastage V 8.0.1 on Windows.One of the job is running successfully once, but if i run the same job again, its getting aborted.The error message is

Any advice?

Thanks Brian for your prompt response.
I am novice in datastage.Where to use that Dsjob command.Is it by adding execute command activity at the end in job sequence? or is there any location where datastage engine automatically stores all job details?

I am able to get envi variable with out 7.5x, i am using 7.1v version now. It works great, only catch is we can't view data from individual stages.
