ODBC USAGE on mainframes

Hi Guys,

Can someone please help me about mvs version of datastage, i am unable to use ODBC in my mvs datastage, if i use dclgen for table definations will that help me in extracting the data and writing the data into the tables,

I am working on mainframes and looking to split the colum info into two parts as i get the data like #kkkkkkkk# 19,trdgar place, USA i need to seperate the field with address in one column and the other part in # # be in another columns... and they are not fixed width. with varchar(40) it is working but i was just wondering why it is not working with char(40) is there any particular reason why its not working

hi, everytime the transaction of any of these products go thru it will create a respective code prashant Who creates those codes. Do you create them? Well regardless, let them be there, pass them through a transformer and put the constraint not equal to those two codes. THANKS GURU IT DID WORK

reading 4 rows as one

hi guys,

i am working with a credit card details,,i get the data in 4 rows, with one as amount, cardnumber, cv2 number and a filller record,,i need to read this as a single row so that it can show as single transaction,
help in this is very much appreciated..
