Did you get a resolution to this yet?
I have a PMR open too.
I will update if I get any answers.
Thanks.

Hi I am attempting to do change capture on SQL Server source into Oracle Target. The SQL Server has fields with type Real which gets imported into DataStage as type Float. When I run it through the change capture, I am getting differences even though the values are the same. Also it appears DataStag...

Surrogate key stage in MPP system.
Hi All, I am having an issue when running my job on a 2 node system. When I first ran the job it complained that it could not find the state file. I changed my config file to run on one node and it worked OK. I figured it was complaining because it could not see the state file on the other node. So ...

We ran on Windows originally when 7.5x came out. It ran OK, but I did run into some issues that were not easily resolved. One issue involved a transformer compiler bug with a parallel transformer that had alot of columns (500 or so). I think this is fixed now and I'm sure the code is more robust the...

Hi there, We have been running Red Hat AS 4 64 bit for some time with no issues. The one thing you have to change is the compiler and linker flag swithes if you are going to compile a transformer, you must set the -m32 flag. This will ensure that the c object code gets compiled in 32 bit mode instea...

Surrogate key error
I have a job that is doing change capture on some data. New records get inserted and changes get updated and old records get expired. A typical type 2 dimension. There are 2 surrogate key stages in the job referencing the same file. When processing I get the following error in the job log: skey_cust...

OK here's the output from orchadmin ll count but it seems to report record numbers in Kilobytes?? Kind of weird. Let me know if you would know how to figure out the total number of records. Many Thanks! Name: /loads/work/etl/outbound/datasets/cust_data_set.ds Version: ORCHESTRATE V8.0.1 DM Block For...
