Hi ray,

My idea is to create all the three vector columns into a single dataset..
i mean in the target dataset, there should be three vector columns..it should be in the following way.

Hi,

I need to make three vector columns. If i am not wrong a make vector stage can make only one vector stage. Is there any other way around to do this....

Hi kumar_s, I am trying to understand your post. You mean to say that, if i have col1,col2,col3,col4,col5 columns and if i make col1 as key column and rest of the field as the subrecords by a different records. But can you just tell me why did you assume the key column as 02 and the subrecords as 05.

Hi ArndW, Since, Oracle stage is my source and doesnt have any inputs,It doesn't show up the input tab to select the different types of partitions.Let me elaborate it.. The flow is DB2/Oracle stage --> Transformer --> aggregator, transformer etc.. I could implement the parallelism right from the firs...

Hi ArndW, That was just my trial..I did it just to test and it was working. But if i remove the 'node map constraint' option and still continue with the parallel mode , it will give double no of records(2 nodes). I can keep a remove duplicate stage between oracle stage and the transformer following ...

Parallelism in oracle

Hi all, In one of our jobs we are extracting data from oracle using oracle enterprise stage. While extracting the data we are doing it in sequential mode and the stages following it in parallel. It is working fine now. Now, want the data from the source also to be extracted in parallel mode. So, when i...
