So far not resolved yet, I'm still communicating with IBM, it's strange other people didn't have thsi problem that much.
Anyway I'll let you know

ODBC Connector - SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1
Hi folks,
I have a stupid question : I can query the SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1 table in DBAS400 but cannot find it when I check the SYSIBM library using the ODBC Import table tool. I can see all tables except this one.
Is there something to configure in the ODBC connector ?
Thanks

Hi Craig, The thing is that I cannot probe the output so that I can retrieve a good example. I just know that if I insert a constant string instead of the initial input, the job gets through. I only trim an input field from DB2-AS400 and load it through a SCD stage. It crashes when getting into the ...

INSERT useing Oracle stage fails - Special characters
Hi guys, I have an issue with an Oracle stage to load a table. At some point my job crashes saying it cannot insert a record (can't tell which one javascript:emoticon('')). I figured it's cause by a varchar field that can contain all sorts of bad characters (commas, slashes, percents, etc). My...

Job Control or Job Sequence for Parallel Development
What do you suggest ? I'm used to Job controls since I have started initially with DS Server Edition. Is it better to switch to sequencers ?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: remove duplicates
If you query from a DB, you can also use the DISTINCT keyword in the query sentence. This is helpful to restrict as early as possible the number of rows that are retrieved.sunitha_cts wrote:HI,
Instead of using Remove duplicate stage , is they any other way to remove duplicates from a table.

Well, I have a solution but I don't like it. In the SCD stage, I create an extra field called PREV_SK which uses the PrevSKChain function (not documented that much by IBM). It has an argument : the business key. If the record is the first one, it returns 0, otherwise, it returns the surrogate key of...
