You want to 'get' as in use the variable in your routine? What happens when you just reference it? Pretty sure the reference would need hash / pounds signs around it, so: #$SrcDir# For example. Or did you try that and it didn't work for you? Hi Craig, yes I tried that, it didn't work. It produces a...

I did. I could only find what sounded like a workaround - a Call DSExecute to do an echo in unix. It never mentions whether there is or isn't a function for project info. I thought there would be, but if not, that's fine, will get the info I need from the unix env.

Wow, that was a softball, eh Craig? Thanks very much. I'll try tomorrow and close out. The documentation seemed to say (to my novice eyes) that the only valid values were NT or UV. I should have tried other values. Thanks! It's not a UV command. Call DSExecute("UNIX","/Ascentia...

DSExecute fails; Verb "DSJOB" is not in your VOC

Hello, I've searched past posts but can't find an explanation for this VOC msg. (I'm pretty confused by the VOC in general so if someone knows of a good post or area of the documentation I could reference would appreciate that too!) My issue: From within my unix shell I can successfully kick off a j...

We encountered this same problem. Confirmed there were no issues for other users. Logged in to the problem pc with a different network id, problem was corrected. So we dropped and recreated the network profile of the problem id and it worked just as you said. You guys saved us a good hour or so of t...
