ya the message file is locked up by some job. and its not opening (its size is huge) I will try opening the file and contact DBA now. will post out the detailed result.

My DBA says that the id has create drop access to the indexes. Any other suggestions.

So you want me to drop the index and then recreate it after load? I know this is a good idea but i dont have the privilages to.

i set the save count to 10000 and now the speed reduces after it reaches 10000. it reduces to 10 and then another 10000 rows are laoded.

The solutions yet not working for me. I have my data sorted on the keys.

Even i am facing the same issue. i have only 6000 rows and they get transfered with a speed of 2000 rows per sec in 1-2 minutes. after that the speed of the job keeps on decreasing till it reaches 11 rows per second. and the job takes 2 hours to decrease its speed and finish.
