Re: DSParams
Another shortcut seems to have been taken away. I know in the past I've manually edited DSParams to transfer large blocks of environment variables from one project to another. Now at 8.1 it seems that this no longer works. Apparently there is some other location (Xmeta?) that is now the "offic...

DataStage 7.5.2 ODBC Enterprise Stage Decimal Corruption Bug
Hello, We have found a bug in our AIX-DataStage 7.5.2 software. The usage of the ODBC Enterprise stage with Decimal datatypes and with Write Method = Upsert causes ALL decimal datatypes to become corrupt. That is, all decimal(scale, precision) datatypes are corrupted. What happens when selecting Wri...

Stop/Start/Certify scripts for WAS, IAS, DB2
Hello,
I would greatly appreciate it, if someone could share their stop/start/certify scripts for Websphere Application Server, Information Server, and DB2 on a Unix platform. We are AIX if it matters much.
Thanks much!

Re: Cannot connect using Information Server Console App
Another bug. IBM had to manually modify the JVM proxy.xml file and comment out the specification for maxheapsize. After that, the Console now opens.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Cannot connect using Information Server Console App
I have installed Information Server 8.1 on AIX 5300-09 and I am trying to launch the Console for Information Server to create some users/roles and the application crashes when trying to launch. I set some of the tracing options it requested. Below is the contents of the XMOG_TRACE_FILE [ 2752] [ INF...
