The table has enough space to have a months data. And it is only a staging table. SO it ok for now.

Once the DBA makes a backup, she will delete the logs.

Re: Log

Thanks for the reply.

We haven't cleared the log yet. But to take care of it, I have created a Unix Script calling a empty file and replacing the table with it.

Job status for running

Hi,
I tried to search the forum, but I didn't get it.
Iam trying it with DSJ.

1. How can I find out that the job is running and finished.
2. Is it possible to get the log files that is created and how
3. And to find the stop time of the job and the elapsed time.

Thanks
Indu

Log

Hi,
I trying to clear the table and then insert the row in my job. But the deleted records get accumalated in the log files in the database.

Is there a way in DS to delete the table without getting accumalated in the log file of the DB.

Thanks

Hi yamini, Thanks for the reply. So Get the data that needs to be deleted into a hash file(Just the key alone) in one job and then in the next job, you bring the data(Key column alone) from the hash file and delete from table(With no transformer). Based on the key I need to delete. Only 2 stages in ...
