I am just exporting the particular job with the corresponding stages as well as routines.Nothing other than that.

While opening the .Xml file it shows that Xml document must have the top level element

Better ask your Datastage product Vendor.You can't get it in installation folder.

Hai Dude,

You will need to apply xpsp2 patch for Datastage client.

Install the patch as follows:

1) Create a temporary directory
2) Unzip the patch into the temporary directory
3) Run the setup.bat file, it will prompt for the installation
directory of the client.

Finally i got the answer.While defining sequential metadata there are three delimiter Tab,Space,Comma.But your delimiter is }.So you have to specify } in other Delimiter textbox.So that the varchar data also get deduplicated.

Why don't you try with the simple SQL by using Distinct keyword.It's also worked fine by using hashed file.
