Can you tnsping the Oracle instance from your DS server? Is Oracle local to your machine? Did you try to import metadata using DS Manager? Did it connect using the sid, userid, and password? When you setup the OCI stage, are your DB Options set correctly? How about Remote Server, did you add it and...

So, have you configured PX for Oracle? Is the Oracle client installed? What have you done? Was there an issue following the setup guides in your documentation? I think problem is not with DS, problem might be with your target tables...it happens some times...when you are loading in to the tables some times tables are get locked. It might be because of your user access permission or your oracle server problem.

Thanks Kim,when we double click on the table it will allow us to modify existing columns are insert the columns at the end of the file but I want to add new columns middle of the file

Hi, I have two extract files (mainframe) with 1765 & 1820 columns. I defined first file columns and saved. Second file contain same columns as first files and some extra columns but these extra columns are not in end of the file, so is there any way i could modify and use the first file???... Th...
