DB2 version upgrade

Hi,

There is going to be a DB2 database upgrade to 9.5 in our projects. I need to know if there would be any compatibility problems with the DB2 plugin. Currently we are using DB2 versions 8.2 and 9.1 and the jobs are running fine.

Thanks,

Unable to import DB2 table definition

Hi, I am trying to import table definition of a DB2 table. When I choose the 'Import Table Definition' option, it prompts for server name, user id and password. After I give the credentials and select 'Next' I get an error message that 'Datastage is not set up properly' and the client loses the conn...

Hi all,

Hi Ray, Iam not using a Sequential File Stage. I have used OpenSeq and WriteSeq commands to write to a flat file in a Job Control. Is there an option to avoid the occurence of ^M characters while writing to the file itself? I would not prefer to remove the characters after the file has been created,...

Control M characters in Sequential File

Hi, I have written a job control to capture the job summary using DSMakeJobReport and to write this information to a sequential file in a loop (for each job). I am able to see the expected result in the output flat file, but I also see ^M characters at the end of each line in the output. Can anyone ...

Hi...I am not able to the see the Premium contents.

This is not a derived column and I have not changed the meta data after creating.

Can you tell me if there are any specific rules in defining the columns in a UV stage? Can I give decimal as the data type? Or does it have to be integer or numeric?

I am able to see the value clearly in the hash file that Iam creating in the first job. I tried to give 24.95 in the input (and can see the same when I try to view the data in the hash file) and it is .2495 in the UVstage output. It is exactly moving two decimal places for every value. What could be...

Once the restart was done, I was not able to connect to my project through the client. 1) But I was able to see the entire directory structure in the u...
