Ok to make this more clear, the same ETL job is able to FTP a file to the remote server.
But when i select the SFTP option in the FTP plug in enterprise stage, the job fails. Is there any environment changes to be done or any FTP OR SFTP services to be installed/enabled

This is a BUG in the New version Parallel jobs. Remove parameter called RootDir if u have used any in your variables. Then close all the connections , restart and now u must find the parallel job running. This Rootdir variable does not affect your server jobs,so u may still find your server jobs run...

First verify if FTP and SFTP are enabled in your machine. To test this login in some other machine and in the cmd mode type ftp and your server ip. if it asks for a user name and password then ftp is anabled, it if says connection denied then you must eanable your FTP ports 21 and 22 in your server....
