Sybase
What sybase software do I need to connect to a Sybase DBMS? Do I need to install the software on same box as DataStage EE? Is there any configuration changes that need to be done?
Thanks

Sorry Ray, I agree, my message is very vague. I am taking a XML file (sequential stage) and parsing it using the XML Input stage. On the output tab, I loaded the XML format in the description column. It is defined as /CATALOG/CD/PRICE/text(). But my price comes out as zeros. I am not sure if I am su...

XML Output Format
Two of my output columns are float and decimal.
The input is 8.99 and 1998
When I parse the input, zeros come out on the numeric fields. Is there a way to see my output correctly without putting a XML transformer in the stream.
Thanks

DataStage Versions
Make sure you receive the 8.0.1 software. We initially received 8.0 a few months back and continually encountered problems. We finally received the latest version and all of our problems are being resolved. The GUI and documentation are also different with some stages.

Hi all, We are coming up on three months now and we still do not have our Windows version of 8.0.1 working. IBM has been contacted and we are continually opening tickets. I would be very interested to hear if anyone using the Windows 8.0.1 version has it working properly. We use an 8 node box on a P...
