Hi

We can demote or supress the warnings but not promote I believe.

The easy way is to use a transformer and use the condition abort on 1 row.

I have not tried the '-warn 10' , will try that, but was thinking if there is away to make a warning convert into FATAL.

Thanks for the inputs.

Promote warning to fatal error

Hi, How do we promote a particular warning to fatal error so that the job aborts, we have a metadata mismatch , instead of generating a warning and dropping the data, we need it to abort. Or Is there a way to specify the job to abort after say 10 warnings when runing the job from Control-M. Thanks,

Grouping before writing to XML

Hi,

We are writing to XML files and using the sort stage to group data for specific keys, which do not seem to work all the times, is inserting an aggregator the only option or did any one come across such a situation.

Thanks,

Hi Roy,
I have an isert statement that works fine outside of DS, but when I try to use it in the before or after tab of Teradata API, it just doesnt seem to be inserting, no warnings , the ids , passwrods connections are the same.

The jobs finish fine, is there a bug or solution for this.

Thanks

Hi,

In the Lookup stage, use 'Reject ' option(for condition not met) and write the reject link to a copy stage.

From the copy stage you can capture the results and also write to a target (2 Streams) .

Hi,

Are you writing to the XML output stage?. In the columns /Description , give the Xpaths and also sort the data before writing to the XML file.

Hi,
FMT(SrcColumn, "4'0'R") was working fine but when it hits a -ve number it pads like this 00-12 instead of -012 .
Any ideas on how to correct this !

Thanks,
