"POLICY_EFCTV_DT" is a datetime field in SQL SERVER Data base and timestamp(23,3) in DataStage, I am creating a column called "INPUT_PED" for populating the POLICY_EFCTV_DT in YYYYMMDD format , its a VARCHAR( 8 ) field in DataSatge.

Hi,
when I ran a job that loads an oracle table, i got a warning which says

"Synchronization error Resource = jobname.stagename.linkname, CurWave = 2, LastWave = 1, Expected 0"

did anyone ever come across
this warning? Can Someone please let me know what this means?

actually i have to match 5 codes, so by using hash files i will end up doing a number of lookups and the requirement is to do using a user defined sql.
