They don't tell you this, but you must run the CDSA SendYoDB first, then you can run the DS7. If you don't run the CDSA export, you get what you are getting.

You are going to have to use MetaArchitect as there are no existing MetaBrokers which connect with IBM/M1. As to file formats, this issues will be determined as you use MetaArchitect and "connect" each source field with its CDSA target.

Be aware that KeyMgtGetNextValueConcurrent() locks the SDKSequences table for each number retrieved. If you have a volume job ... this will create a significant choke point.

Hmmmm ... never saw that one before. It's having trouble with the ERwin MetaBroker - have you been doing ERwin imports ok? Can you do Erwin imports now? If your last import was from ERwin, try dropping that version. Suspect this is an issue for Ascential Support.

Shay ... it sounds like you are trying to import QualityStage into DataStage ... ??? The import path MUST be QualityStage (or ProfileStage) to MetaStage - not directly to DataStage.

Yes ... this is potentially very good news - IF there is a way to get the TX stuff down to DataStage. As of now there is no MetaBroker from TX to MetaStage, so to be available, we'd need to get it into the DataStage repository - we could then import into MetaStage.

Melanie ... Couple of thoughts ... when you worked with your DBA to establish a schema for your MetaStage repository, the DBA will have asked you to choose a UserId and Password. These become the values unique to the MetaStage Administrator and should be used by you when connecting to the MS reposit...

Wow. I've had many problems creating repositories on a variety of platforms, but I've never seen this one.

You may have missed a step in repository creation and I would suggest that you drop the current schema and start all over again.
