hi Ray, As usual the Manual dont specify the scenarios in which the option could be utilised unless someone really feels the need for it....with PULL option the Process chain tab would make sense because then the BW can invoke the DS job ...but if I use PUSH method the DS job would load the data in ...

Hi All, I have a confusion...Now in DS 7.5 we have Process Chain option with Push method as well which was not available in prior versions... I would like to know what exactly and in which scenario should I use PUSH and Process Chains together... I can understand of using PULL and Process Chain bcos...

Hi,
1. You need to logon as Administrator
2. If this error is shown press ok..
3. You will be taken to a screen where you need to choose .mdb file
4. Choose Qualitystagedesigner.mdb

And you are thru!!!

Just an Update from Ascential

Hi All, Just to update everyone on this forum regarding this issue...Ascential admits that Unicode Version of Quailty Stage does not support German and other special characters..they have suggested me to install single byte version for the same.... They have raised and Engineering case for this issu...

Yes I can do an Upcase in the Hashfile Key Expression column...but what about my source file...for e.g in hash file I have "John" and the source file I have "JOHn" as input...how do I compare using hash file compare?

Please suggest.

Data comparison with Mix Case alphabets

Hi,
I have data coming from the source with words having Mix case(e.g MiKe)...I need to compare the word with a hash file lookup that contains a word(e.g MIKE)...with a normal match i am not able to do that...how do i achieve the same using DS.?

just a small clarification...
If I use Gematch Duplicate, then it really doesnt matter which file should be File A or File B....I dont have to care which should be my reference file and which should be my data file..???

Also can you please elaborate, what exactly the difference is between the Geomatch Multiple and Geomatch Duplicate.

Which one is suitabe for me if I need to have many to many matching in QS...?
