Setwarninglimit(), Can this function be added to Server job instead of sequencer to get override of the warning limits in sequencer? If so, how can I do this? in other words, Can I copy only this function call in job control routine of the job for overriding the warning limit of the sequencer ? Than...

Assume that, a job sequence, which calls three individual jobs.

I can run each individual job with separate warning limits.

But I want to run the entire sequencer and override the warning limits option at each job level. Can I do that in DS jobs... If so, Please tell me.. Thanks

It is working with that option.

When I view the processes in the command "ps -eg | grep user name", I am getting only the current shell process and the current command (i.e. ps).

So this means..no other process is running on the server.... Still I am seeing the jobs are in running state on the client...

The DS job is not changing it's status from running to stopped... even after forceful stopping of the job in director and also in backend unix box.

Can you please help me to solve this problem. As I need to rerun the job again after stopping it.

Hi I have used another way. In administrator-> Command button, If we click then type in ds.tools, execute then we will get some kind of session through which, I released the locks of a particular process. The process id can be found from the director cleanup resources screen. I think this also helps...

We dont follow any metadata practices as such.

I opened a job-> went to properties -> went to dependencies tab... I could not see any jobs there in that tab.

Is there any way to get the dependency report even if we dont follow any metadata practices?

Hi Ray As you said, I found out the process id in the lowerscreen and I used that in the upperscreen and done logout of that process. I am able to logoff all the processes except one corresponding to that id. That Id is having "Unavailable" as context and..I am not able to logoff this proc...
