I have had numerous errors using the Xerces importer since release 8. I have had them resolved with patches so I would advise contacting support.

The benefit of using the resource registry is that you don't have to do map changes for different environments. You just need to set up the initial entries and change the .mrc file.
We use this as much as possible.

I believe tutorial exercise files stopped being shipped with the product after 6.7. So you get the pdf but nothing to use it with.

I believe you can only use resource variables if you pass all the variables as parameters rather than using the mdq.

You could set your input card to BURST mode with a fetch unit of 2. This would process 2 records through the cycle of output cards each time.

Never used 7.5. It could be a bug if your schema is valid.

So am I but I've got 4 different versions - 6.5.1, 6.7.1, 8.0 and 8.1.0.1
