I don't understand what wou mean by a 'closed start tag'. </Resolution> is the closing tag for <Resolution>. It will only produce a /> close if the tag is empty and required.

It's got one - </Resolution> is the closing tag. If your export is still crashing then it's obviously a new bug and needs reporting to Support. I'm always finding bugs with Xerces. You could try posting to a forum that allows you attachments such as http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/dw_fo...

The trouble with patches is that they are specific to your system and so don't go on general release. Service packs are for general release and I think these come out every 3 - 4 months for the latest release.

IBM run courses in the UK. A colleague was on one last week and there was a guy from Sweden there. Your rule would be scalable if you set up a lookup file containing the before and after value in each record. Read this in an Input card and use the lookup function to return the required value. Trouble is if you don't renew your service contract you'll never get a working product. There's always a new bug springing up.

It will only be there if you are entitled to it unless IBM have screwed up your service contract like they did most peoples.

If you download the latest release of DSTX, 8.1.0.2, it comes with a different Help using Eclipse. That should solve your problem.
