In the Administrator the Auto Purge option is disabled .

In Job level also purging option is not enabled .

Still the Job Logs are getting deleted after a single run.

Please let me know..

Eventually we had to locate the 2 PCs connected to datastage and asked them to reboot their machine..It helped solving our problem.

What I dint understatnd after logging out from the DS client why the FIN_WAIT_2 status still persists?

I created datastage directory inside Ascential Directory. Is it necessary to have write previledges for the user logging in DSServer from client side.?

Did you bounce DS recently?

YES.

We restarted DS Service and I changed its UVTEMP directory to another one with lot of space.

I ran the analayze command in unix while failed to login the datastage designer window.

Whenever I try to add any function call or executable statement (e.g. CAll DSLogInfo)in Job control of a job The following error is thrown.

Attempting to Cleanup after ABORT raised in stage JOB_XYZ..JobControl

I am not able to guess any reason for that.
