i do not have col1 coming from my source link . In my source link col3 is the key .i need to do a lookup on col3 and get all attributes from Hashed file

hmmm so to use hashed file in this case , i have to create another Hashed file with col3 as the key .Is that the only solution???

Hashed file help

My Hashed file has 6 columns .i created this Hashed file using col1 as key . Now i want to use this Hashed file as reference in another job where i want to do a lookup on the col3 and get specific attributes(col3,col4,col5&col6). When i do a lookup on col3 , i do not fetch any records from Hashe...

Narasimha's thought on dropping indexes before and creating them after is another good option. That's what i am doing in my design for better performance .

I think there is no harm to contact DBA for any performance help or suggestions .

Partitioning of database tables should help incase of Large volume of data .Contact your DBA .

rows per transactions size????

when you say incremental load , is it weekly data or monthly data ? give me more details

I always used Hashed files as Lookup . When i used OCI stage as lookup , some how used to get abnormal termination error ( RANDOMLY) while fetching the records from reference link . when i changed the oracle lookup to Hashed file Lookup did not get into any trouble. I do not know if this make sense ...
