Hi May i know the total number of columns you are loading. As we know hash can accomodate 2GB. Calculate the total amount of data you will be loading into hash by adding up all the column lenghts. can anybody suggest the hardware requirements for a profile stage. The work load for my application will be around 3 million files. Iam completely new to profile stage. Infact i dunno anything about it. so can anyone tell me the hardware that can be used for it

As we all know IBM has fully taken Ascential datastage. Previously Datastage is more inclined to Oracle as it has various oracle stages. Now will newer version impact the oracle usage. The reason Y i ask is I know only oracle but dont have any idea about DB2.
