DRS Vs ODBC Stage

Hello All, I am trying to understand this DRS stage-- I am doing a view data. I can see the data for all the columns except for the columns with binary Datatype. I dont know if Raj could crack down his issue. We faced similar problem when all of a sudden couple of jobs extracting from db2 source starting to hang. Nothing was getting extracted and we had to kill all the processes first to make sure there were no locks and then the jobs started working fine ag...

Our OS is Windows. I am assuming yours is on Unix and im not sure about what all are needed in ODBC.ini . May be you need to browse through the forum for some really useful tips.

I just got a breakthrough. I had a connection open to AS400 which was not killed and I was trying to view the data again and again which made it worse. I had to close my DataStage client and then kill all the connections I had to AS400 and then try and it worked.

Thanks,

Rec1 comes , you update the existing target record with EffEndDate -- StartDate-1 of new record Rec2 comes, update the target record with EffDate--StartDate-1 Both the records go to insert but then I do...
