first question back to you is it a fixed length file or a variable length file? if its a fixed width file you can get the length of each column right.Then check the length of the column and check for | and replace by space or some thing default value you want. then you wont have any problem let me k...

How to pass column name instead of value?
Hi All,
Is there any way to pass the column name instead of the vlaues comming in I dont need the values i just need the column name to pass.
Ex:
seq file -> tx -> seqfile
i want to pass 1st columnname from seqfile to transformer instead of value.

How to abort job based on constraint
I know its not a good practise to abort job.
But based on requirment i need to abort job based on a condition in Transformer.Is there any way to do it.I searched in form i didnt get the needed information So any one can help on this ?
